If you need urgent medical assistance between 6.30pm - 8:00am (when the practice is closed) you should call 111 (please call 0161 476 2299 between 12:30 -13:30 on Tuesdaya and 18:00 - 18:30 on Fridays)

Named GP: As from June 2015 we are obliged to inform patients that they have a “named GP”. This has no bearing at all on which GP you currently see and / or wish to see in the future.

If you need urgent medical assistance between which will not wait until we reopen, please telephone NHS111 who will assess and signpost you to the most appropriate service. Please ring 111.

The out-of-hours service may offer you advice, a home visit or you may be asked to attend Mastercall offices at Pepper Road, Hazel Grove, SK7 5BW. Please remember that the doctor on call has worked the previous day and may be working the next day, so call only if essential.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.  

Repeat Prescriptions

You will still be able to request repeat prescriptions following the usual process, but please remember that whilst we are closed they will not be processed until two working days after we reopen, so will be ready to collect on Friday, 29 December 2017.  

Should you require an urgent prescription, that cannot wait until we reopen, please contact NHS111 Service by dialing '111'.

If you require an routine repeat prescription you may:

  • Order via Post
  • Online (via our Patient Access Online Services)

  • Contact: Pharmacy2U (0113 265 0222) or another local pharmacy, who can order and deliver your prescription to you. 
  • Fax your order: 0161 427 8160

Please remember to include your full name, date of birth, address and the items of medication that you require. 

We cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and also remember to take weekends and public holidays into account.
