Named GP: As from June 2015 we are obliged to inform patients that they have a “named GP”. This has no bearing at all on which GP you currently see and / or wish to see in the future.

In 2013, the NHS introduced the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which allows GPs to send your prescription electronically from their computer to your chosen pharmacy. This means that you don't need a paper copy of your prescription.

To sign up for EPS, all we need is the name and location of the pharmacy. To set it up, all you need to do is:
  • Reception: Let us know which pharmacy you would like your prescriptions to be sent
  • Clinician: If you see a Clinician at the Practice, you can ask them to set your chosen pharmacy
